Hey what's good it's me your overnight celebrity, and weekend warrior, King Kandy. I am from Wisconsin and moved to the "beautiful" city of Decatur to attend college at Millikin University, where I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Business. My interest in music began way back when I took up playing the trumpet in band when I was in middle school.  I continued that all through high school but my interest turned to singing. I then took up choir my junior year of high school and fell in love with the thought of being in the music industry. Knowing how important school is, I attended college, instead of running off to LA, to study my passion, music. While attending Millikin, I began as an intern here at HOT 105.5.  Hoping to use this opportunity as a spring board to a career in the music business, I worked grueling hours and put in a LOT of hard work.  I earned an on-air spot after months of effort and I am now on a remarkable six days a week.
