Born and raised in the “618� and Graduated from Illinois State University. While at ISU He became one of the most notarized on-air personalities at WZND Z106 Jamz 106.1 FM. He won four different awards while attending ISU, 1st place in the category of Best Radio Air check for the 2004 Illinois Broadcasters Association, Received 2nd place in the category of Best Radio Air check for the 2003 Illinois Broadcasters Association, Received 2nd place for Best Regularly Scheduled Program by the National College Broadcasters Incorporated WZND radio show "Saturday Night Party" and Received Illinois Broadcasters Association Scholarships.
Radio has given Suav-A the chance to meet and interview rappers like Bone Thugs N Harmony, Chamillionaire, Chingy, David Banner, Do or Die, J-Kwon, Loon, Mike Jones, Mr. Magic, Nappy Roots, Paul Wall, Pitbull, Proof of D12 {R.I.P}, Slum Village, Stat Quo, Ludacris, Jon-B and that is just a few of them.
